Welcome to our class website!

A class web site can be a creative way of getting students excited about a subject, keeping them up to date on assignments, and providing them with valuable online resources. This site can be helpful to the students in our class, but it will not replace the student daily planner.
Here are examples of the content I might include.
  • Homework assignments.
  • Upcoming due dates for projects and book reports.
  • Information about what will be included on tests.
  • Interesting events from the news.
  • Links to sites that might be helpful to homework or interesting for furthering research on an interesting area.
  • SOL practice items.

Hurricane Ivan Churns Toward Caribbean

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (AP) -- Hurricane Ivan churned toward the Caribbean on Monday, packing sustained winds of 115 mph and threatening to hit Barbados and other islands, after it strengthened from tropical storm status with unusual speed.

Residents rushed to install storm shutters and schools remained closed in Barbados, where the Category 3 storm - the fourth major hurricane of the season - was expected to hit late Tuesday.
